Audi RS3 2017 the machine 5 cylinder with 395 horsepower
Audi has just launched its newest cars namely the Audi RS3 in sedan and hatchback forms at once. The most highly anticipated on this latest RS3 is a 5 cylinder gasoline engines were updated again so as to produce greater power.
The latest machines from 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged five-cylinder that now produces 395 horsepower with a peak torque of 580 Nm, which makes the latest Audi RS3 became one of the most powerful cars as seen from its size. But not only there, Audi also managed to reduce the total weight of the machine of 26 kg, so as to increase the number of power-to-weight ratio. Its Crankcase made from aluminum rather than iron graphite mix.
The result? New Audi RS3 may drove a 0 100 km/h within 2.5 seconds, which is also assisted by permanent Quattro all-wheel drive system and also the dual-clutch transmission S-Tronic seven-acceleration. But as usual, the maximum speed of the car is limited by the limiter at 250 km/h, there is also an additional option for those of you who still are less satisfied with the numbers that the limiter is restricted, you can select the maximum speed up to 280 km/h. Although only slightly, but 30 km/h is a big difference if you are on speed.
Part of the suspension also got a change by Audi, with a choice of optional RS Sport Suspension Plus with technology Adaptive dampers. Audi also provides a Carbon Ceramic brake Discs as an option, if you feel less than with standard 370mm brakes.
"Now, with 400 hp, it will take up pole position worldwide and not only in the RS 3 Sportback but also in the RS 3 Sedan," said Stephan Winkelmann, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH. Everything stated above is indeed quite tantalizing, will Audi able to rival the Mercedes-AMG A45?
